I woke up one day several weeks ago and reached for my phone. It’s a bad habit. I check the time, but what I’m really interested in is my email, the news, notifications from various apps. I had to look twice at the little box indicating an email from Two Sisters Writing & Publishing.

I opened the email and read it three times. Each word. Carefully.

I did it. I was the May Contest Winner for for a fiction piece, 3000 words max. My short story, THE WINDOW, found a home.
